Contact Fatigue

Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever been so social! I’m on four different sites enabling contact with friends old and new. I think I could spend hours each day face-booking, twittering, texting and plaxo-pulsing. Of course I can’t do that and get anything done. I have done a lot of it today and frankly, I’m tired…I have contact fatigue. Who would have thought that the computer age would reintroduce us to friends we lost touch with years ago? I’ve heard from schoolmates, friends from places I’ve preached, loads of precious people from Australia and New Zealand…what a blessing! I just wish I could keep up with it all.

  1. Good afternoon, Dwight. I know what you are talking about. In fact, I had to finish a post, update my status and tweet about it, before I could drop by here to leave a comment. Still, it is amazing how well connected we can be in today’s world. Keep up the good work! May God continue to richly bless your ministry.
